IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL WESTERN DRESSAGE RIDERS

Western Dressage Test need to follow all WDAA rules regardless if you are a member of WDAA or not.  WDAA rules and other tests can found here: COMPETITION RULES.   For more detailed information see WDAA Rule system.

COMPETITION RULES

Videos must be filmed in a landscape mode AND filmed from letter C. See rules and tutorial for instructions on other requirements.

(3 or more riders required in each category)

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY

1. All competition rides must hold up a hand-held sign before the ride. Otherwise ride is Hors Concour.

January 1, 2023  IMPORTANT: NEW CHAMPIONSHIP REQUIREMENT:
In order to be eligible for VHS Championships, each rider must now film an equipment check, Otherwise ride will not be included in overall 2023 championships placings.

If you feel VERY uncomfortable dropping the bit, VHS will accept a video of both sides of the horses mouth, clearly showing no blood and as much of the bit as possible
